On October 3, the City Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee of Hai Phong city organized to praise and reward coaches and athletes who achieved outstanding achievements at the Asian Games (ASIAD). 19th time.
The 19th Asian Games was held in Hangzhou (China) from September 16 to October 9. The participating Vietnamese Sports Delegation includes 504 members.
Hai Phong was honored to have 3 athletes compete in 2 events: Shooting and Sailing.

At the end of the two competitions, Hai Phong’s Shooting athlete Pham Quang Huy won Gold medal Men’s individual 10m Air Pistol event and Team Bronze Medal in Men’s 10m Air Pistol content.
This is the first time in its 40-year history that Vietnamese Shooting has won the Gold Medal at the Asian Games, and is also a great honor for the sports industry.
To promptly encourage shooter Pham Quang Huy and coach Mr. Pham Cao Son, Deputy Head of Training Management, Politics, Ideology Department and Head of Shooting Department – Center for Physical Training and Competition Sports (under the Department of Culture and Sports) achieved excellent results at the 19th Asian Games, City People’s Committee Hai Phong organize praise and rewards.
Athlete Pham Quang Huy and coach Pham Cao Son received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hai Phong city. The bonus for the two individuals above is more than 300 million VND.
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hai Phong city, appreciated the efforts of the coaches and athletes.
To achieve the above achievement, coaches and athletes went through a harsh and difficult training process.
