Haider Abdul Amir leads Erbil’s ball instead of Obaid

/ Erbil Club administration announced today, Thursday, that it has contracted with coach Haider Abdul Amir to train its football team, succeeding the resigned coach Abbas Obaid.

Club member Musa Mohsen told Agency: “The administration sat with the new coach and agreed with him on all matters, and he will take over the task immediately.”

He pointed out that “the administration agreed with the new coach to keep the assistant staff and not bring his staff with him due to the difficult financial situation that Erbil Club is going through, and the coach approved this, except for his need for a fitness trainer who will be included with the assistant staff.”

He added, “The new coach confirmed that Erbil players are good and can be kept except for some minor additions to the defense line.”

After the end of the 12th round, Erbil team is ranked 15th in the teams’ standings with 12 points.
