The renovation of the housing stock will begin in Haifa as part of a large-scale project.

This was reported by “Details”.

The Shuval construction company announced that the majority of apartment owners in old buildings in the area of Allenby and Rothschild streets in the Adar district have agreed to the demolition of their houses and the implementation of a project to build new housing (pinuy binuy).

The area of approximately 50 dunams freed up by the demolition will be used to build residential buildings and commercial enterprises, as well as extensive green areas. The Shuval company notes that it was chosen as the developer back in 2022, but approval of the project with 450 apartment owners took about two years.

The planned complex includes residential buildings up to 28 floors high, which will house approximately 2,200 apartments. Approximately 20% of them will be small, up to 80 square meters. The project also provides extensive underground parking for cars.

The developers clarify that we are talking about very old residential buildings built in the 60s that do not meet modern standards. In their place, new buildings will be erected that meet the highest housing standards, and most of the apartments will have sea views.

Earlier, Cursor reported that Israeli residents have become more active in using electronic wallets.
