## Rain Causes Havoc in Capital City
Heavy rains have been relentless in the capital, leading to widespread hail on Wednesday. At least three mayoralties have been affected.
Social media users reported the fall of hail in the southern and central areas of the capital, specifically in the municipalities of Coyoacan, Benito Juarez and Miguel Hidalgo.
Photos circulating on social media depict residents covering the streets and avenues with a light white covering caused by the hail.

In response to the rainfall, the Traffic Guidance Center of the Secretariat of Citizen Security urged motorists to exercise caution due to a puddle on Patriotism Avenue at the height of the San Antonio Avenue.
The center recommended motorists to take an alternative route through Insurgentes Avenue and Miguel Alemán Viaduct.
Given the current rainy season in the capital, the Secretariat for Integrated Risk Management and Civil Protection issued the following recommendations:

- Sweep drains and keep them clear of trash or objects that may block them.
- Pay special attention to avoid stepping on electrical cables.
