In a story he uploaded today (Wednesday) to his Instagram account, Etgar shared a message he received from a French citizen who was amazed by the food prices in Israel. The same person attached a picture of himself from a supermarket in France, where it was written that one mango costs only 0.99 cents. Etgar shared and wrote that in London, the capital of England, mangoes that came from Israel were sold for three and a half pounds per kilo, which is equivalent to one shekel and seventy agorots for a single mango.

The same person wrote: “I’m French by origin, I’ve lived in Israel for 8 years. Look how they work on us. Right now in France, one unit of mango costs three shekels, they sell it to us for 50 shekels per kilo in Israel. And guess where these mangoes come from??? From Israel A real shame.”
