Saudi Arabia: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that only those under the age of 65 will be allowed to perform the Hajj. Forts were declared for those who could reach from each country. According to the ministry, 10 lakh pilgrims, including foreigners and locals, will be given permission this time.

Pilgrims must have received the Kovid vaccine approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health to perform the Hajj in Saudi Arabia. Those who have not been vaccinated must present a Kovid Negative Certificate taken within 72 hours. Precautions should be strengthened for those arriving in the country to perform Hajj. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has directed that those arriving for Hajj should strictly follow the instructions and precautionary measures.

At the same time, strict measures will be taken to eliminate begging in Saudi Arabia. In the last one week, more than 500 people have been arrested from different parts of the country. Strict action will be taken against those who violate the law and beg. Although begging was earlier banned in the country, steps are now being taken to eradicate it completely. Under the new Prohibition of Begging Act approved by the Cabinet, severe fines will be imposed. The maximum penalty is one year imprisonment and a fine of one lakh riyals.
