Hajj: 33,536 pilgrims registered from Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Auqaf and Religious Affairs has announced that 33,536 pilgrims have registered for this year’s holy Hajj. 3606 people are foreigners. Online registration ended last day. A total of 42,406 applications were received.

The highest number of registrations is from Dakhiliya governorate with 5739 applicants. Muscat comes next with 5,701 pilgrims. Dahira (1704), Al Wusta (240), Dhofar (3277), Musandam (200), Buraimi (485), North Bathina (5016), South Bathina (3055), North Sharqiya (3111) and South Sharqiya (2350). Online registration for Hajj started on February 21. Citizens and residents above 18 years of age were facilitated to register through the portal https://hajj.om/. A total of 14,000 people from Oman will get a chance to perform Hajj this year.
