Watan Al-Youm: The head of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Khalil Hajj Tawfiq, said on Sunday that he harshly criticizes merchants for personal motives, with the aim of extortion and exploitation.
He added, in a televised statement, that oil is one of the most important supplies that witnessed a decrease in prices during the recent period, stressing that the loss of oil factories is estimated at millions.
He explained that the government should give up its weakness in some files, including prices, noting that talking about high prices in the markets before Ramadan is inaccurate.
“No one feels with the Jordanian merchant, and we are going through very difficult circumstances due to the prevailing stagnation in the markets,” according to Hajj Tawfiq
