After a national team break, the English league is back to the last line with the struggles at the top and bottom opener than ever. Liverpool are currently hosting Watford at Anfield as part of the 31st round for a fiery edge battle at the end of which they will be able to move up to first place at least temporarily.
Jürgen Klopp’s side are in just a tremendous period as they have already counted nine consecutive Premier League victories which completely opened the championship battle and put them just one point behind leaders Manchester City as they can still win four titles this season after winning the League Cup and are in the final stages Of the Champions League and the English Cup.
On the other hand, Roy Hodgson’s side, who have lost all seven of their meetings against Klopp, are in a bad season as they are ranked below the red line with just 22 points, three points below the red line but with two extra games. Despite this, Watford can get a little cheering after beating Southampton 1-2 in the previous league game, a game that interrupted four consecutive league games without a win.
The two teams met this season somewhere in the eighth round, so Liverpool recorded a tremendous purposeful display and exploded on Watford with a formidable 0-5 away from a huge hat-trick from Roberto Firmino and more goals from Muhammad Salah and Sadio Mane.
