The five-episode mini series starring Ewan McGregor has landed on Netflix, a miscellany of the stereotypes of homosexual life between the 70s and 80s

of Maurizio Porro

The 5-episode mini-series dedicated to the messy life of designer Halston, American celebrity of the 70s and standard-bearer of the self gay man, made its global debut on Netflix. Based on a biographical book by Steven Gaines (“Simply Halston”), the series is produced by Ryan Murphy who has to his credit blockbusters such as “American Horror Story”, “Glee” and, not surprisingly, the remake of a gay cult like “Boys in the band”. “Halston”, just a surname, is a miscellany of all the stereotypes of homo life at least in the “free all” style of post-68 New York.
