The authorities are targeting a record number of passengers arriving at the Hamad International Airport this year as well. The Qatar Tourism Chairman said the airport is aiming to record passenger numbers this year based on the post-Covid recovery and acceptance of the World Cup.
Every year the number of passengers passing through Hamad International Airport is increasing.
3,57,34,243 passengers in 2022. The increase is 101.9 percent over 2021. In 2019, just before Covid, the number of passengers reached 3.95 crore. According to reports, the number of passengers will reach a new record this year.
Hamad International Airport has been named the best overall airport in the world.
