The Prime Minister appointed by the House of Representatives, Osama Hammad, conducted inspection tours and visits to places and hospitals in the city of Kufra.
In this context, the Prime Minister appointed by the House of Representatives, Osama Hammad, visited the headquarters of the Subul al-Salam Battalion, affiliated with the Chief of Staff of the Land Forces, General Command of the Armed Forces.
According to what the Libyan government published on its official page, “Hammad and reconstruction officials met with the commander of the Koutoubia, Abd al-Rahman Hashem, in the city of Kufra, in which he appreciated the efforts of the Libyan government in Kufra and the cities of the southeast.”
Hammad praised “the efforts of the battalion and all its members, affiliates, and armed forces units, in establishing stability, securing the country’s southeastern borders with neighboring countries from all dangers, and protecting the city and its facilities in cooperation with the security services.”
Hammad also “appreciated the efforts made by the General Command, the Subul al-Salam Battalion, and the military units, in providing food and health aid to the displaced from the State of Sudan, securing them, and providing for their needs, in solidarity with them upon their arrival in Libyan territory.”
He was accompanied on the tour by the Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Al-Qasim Haftar, the Chairman of the Reconstruction and Stabilization Committee, Hatem Al-Araibi, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Abu Bakr Al-Zawi.
In this context, Osama Hammad conducted an inspection tour of the new hospital project with a capacity of 120 beds in the city of Kufra. During the visit, he was briefed on the progress of work in the project, in order to open it after fully equipping it with modern medical equipment and medical and auxiliary staff in order to provide services and provide full health care to citizens. .
The Prime Minister-designate by the House of Representatives, Osama Hammad, also conducted an inspection tour of the “Al-Shura Neighborhood” rural hospital in the city of Kufra, and was briefed on the progress of work in the hospital and all its departments, and the problems and obstacles it suffers from, pledging to provide all operational and therapeutic needs and affirming his support for it.
