/ Hamas movement condemned, on Saturday, in the strongest terms the US bombing of Iraq and Syria, and while it considered it a dangerous escalation and an infringement on the sovereignty of Iraq and Syria and a threat to the security and stability of the region, it stressed that these strikes serve Israel’s expansionist agenda and cover up its horrific crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement received by Agency, the movement held the administration of US President Joe Biden responsible for the consequences of what it described as the “brutal aggression” on both Iraq and Syria, which pours oil on the fire, stressing that “the region will not witness stability or peace except by stopping the Zionist aggression and crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our people in the Gaza Strip, and ending the Nazi Zionist occupation of our occupied Palestinian and Arab lands.”
She added that this matter requires Washington to review its aggressive policies and respect the sovereignty of states and the interests of Arab peoples, who will not stand idly by in the face of the crimes of genocide being committed against the Palestinian people, which are taking place in full view of the entire world.
