Hamas stated that the Israeli Army launched this Sunday (5) “intense bombings” around several hospitals in northern Israel. Gaza Stripwhich is now suffering a new cut in telephone and internet lines.
“Intense shelling has been taking place around the hospitals for more than an hour,” said the head of the Hamas government’s press service, Salameh Maaruf.
The attacks were especially intense near Gaza’s main hospital, Al-Shifa, according to the spokesman.
These bombings occurred after the Israeli Army again accused Hamas of using hospitals in the context of the conflict.

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari stated that “among Hamas’ worst war crimes is its use of hospitals to hide its terrorist infrastructure.”
Hamas, which has governed this Palestinian territory since 2007, categorically denied the accusations and stated that Israel uses them as a pretext to attack hospitals.
Furthermore, the Palestinian terrorist group declared itself willing to receive “an international commission of inquiry” to inspect the hospitals and ensure that they are not used for military purposes.
Israel has been carrying out a relentless offensive in the Gaza Strip since October 7, in response to the bloody Hamas attack that left 1,400 people dead on its territory, most of them civilians, according to Israeli authorities.
According to Hamas, at least 9,770 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of the conflict.
