O Hamas terrorist group reported “intense fighting” on Friday night (27) between its soldiers and Israeli forces, who, according to the extremist movement, carried out ground incursions in two sectors of the Gaza Strip.
“We faced Israeli ground incursions in Beit Hanun [norte] e Al Bureij [centro]. Intense fighting is being fought,” the Ezzedin al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said in a statement.
Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari said this Friday that military ground operations in the Gaza Strip will be expanded from tonight onwards, in parallel with the bombings in the enclave.
“In continuation of the offensive activity we have carried out in recent days, the ground forces will expand their activities,” the spokesman said at a press conference.
