Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf), a well-known industrial institution of health and educational services, sales center and ambulances of Bangladesh have been affected by the nationwide violence due to the quota reform movement. The incident took place at Hamdard health care and sales center located in Siddhirganj of Narayanganj at 5 pm on July 20.

All the medicine, doctor’s chamber, furniture, important documents of the office inside the sales center got burnt due to fire started by unknown people. An initial loss of around 50 lakh rupees has been incurred in this incident. A general diary has already been made at Siddhirganj police station after informing about the matter.

Besides, miscreants also attacked an ambulance of Hamdard General Hospital located in Ghazaria, Munshiganj, near the capital, on July 19. The ambulance was heavily damaged.

It is to be noted that the ambulance engaged in emergency services was going to Hamdard General Hospital in Ghazaria from Dhaka with a gynecologist. On the way, the doctor was dropped and attacked in the ambulance. Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh is drawing the attention of the concerned authorities for appropriate action in these incidents of violence.
