Damar Hamlin, NFL player for the Buffalo Bills, returned to training 100% on Monday, seven months after his cardiac arrest in the middle of a game following a tackle.

Buffalo Bills NFL franchise American football player Damar Hamlin returned to training without restrictions on Monday, nearly seven months after suffering cardiac arrest following a tackle.

The 25-year-old’s heart had to be revived by rescuers on the field after a tackle on January 2, during a match against the Bengals in Cincinnati.

He was then evacuated to hospital in Cincinnati in critical condition before being transferred to Buffalo a few days later, in much better health.

Doctors have cleared Hamlin to return to American football, allowing him to now train without restrictions on tackles and tackles. He can thus prepare for the upcoming NFL season, his third with the Bills.
