Following Ganghwa the previous day, I visited the region two days in a row… Visit Geumjeong-gu, Busan
“No, the mountain is against relocation”… Ilhyun Yoon “School days in Geumjeong-gu”
Han Dong-hoon, representative of the People Power Party, visited Geumjeong-gu, Busan on the 28th and appealed for support for Geumjeong-gu Mayor candidate Yoon Il-hyun, who is running in the October 16 by-election.
Representative Han said at Candidate Yoon’s election committee launch ceremony this afternoon, “Not long ago, the Democratic Party of Korea came to Geumjeong and said they would develop Busan finance. “I want to tell you if it makes sense,” he said. In order to comply with the provisions of the Public Official Election Act, Representative Han did not use a microphone on site that day.
He emphasized, “The person who most actively opposes the relocation of the Korea Development Bank is Kim Min-seok, a top member of the Democratic Party,” and added, “We will move the Korea Development Bank to Busan, and we will persistently take responsibility for the development of Busan.”
In response, Candidate Yoon pledged to win, saying, “I spent my school days in Geumjeong-gu from elementary school to university,” and “I am running in this election to rebuild Geumjeong-gu, a luxury city that was once splendid.”
After completing his schedule at Candidate Yoon’s election office, Representative Han plans to visit Baptist Hospital and hold an on-site meeting.
Meanwhile, Representative Han visited Ganghwa-gun, Incheon the day before and appealed for support for Ganghwa-gun candidate Park Yong-cheol. Until this day, they have continued to make extensive efforts to support the by-election for two days in a row.
This by-election for the Ganghwa-gun mayor and Geumjeong-gu mayor was held when former Ganghwa-gun mayor Yoo Cheon-ho and former Geumjeong-gu mayor Kim Jae-yoon, who were suffering from chronic illnesses, passed away in March and June, respectively.
Former Yeonggwang-gun Kang Jong-man and former Gokseong-gun mayor Lee Sang-cheol will each hold a re-election for the positions left vacant after their elections were invalidated last May on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act.
Representative Han will also campaign in Gokseong, Jeollanam-do on the 8th of next month to support the re-election. Advance voting for the re-election will be held for two days on the 11th and 12th of next month, and the main vote will be held on the 16th of the same month.
