Director Arun Matheswaran’s next film, Sanikkayitham, will be released on May 6 on ODD. For the first time in the film, director Selvarajavan has become an actor and also played the protagonist of the story. Keerthi Suresh plays the heroine. This film has been certified by the Censor Board.
But director Arun Matheswaran, who did not care much about the A certification, expressed his regret that the film had been told to cut several scenes in the censor and the censor also condemned the act.
Commenting on this, he said, “It is unfortunate that the scene already seen in the trailer and seen by the fans will not be in the film. It will just be the director’s cut.”
