The final four of this 2022/2023 Handball Champions League takes place on June 17 and 18 in Cologne. It was during the 2009-2010 season that the European Handball Federation established the Final Four (the Final Square) in order to punctuate its C1. This event consists of bringing together the four semi-finalists in the same place to play the end of the event over one weekend only, semi-finals on Saturday, the final and the match for third place on Sunday. Since its inception, the Final Four has always been held at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne.

PSG, the only French club still in smooth

This is the sixth participation of the capital club in the Final Four. Already champions of France, the Parisians want to achieve the double and reach the final of this Final Four. For that, they will have to get rid of Kielce in the semi-finals. The Poles won the title in 2016 and were runners-up last season. If PSG manages to overcome this obstacle, Luka Karabatic’s teammates will find FC Barcelona in the final, defending champion, or the German team of Magdeburg.

The Final Four of the Handball Champions League will be watched live and exclusively on the beIN Sports channel.
