The health of Hannibal Gaddafi, son of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, has deteriorated, 3 days after he went on hunger strike to protest his arrest in Lebanon.

For his part, lawyer Paul Romanos explained that Gaddafi’s son suffers from headache, muscle pain, and difficulty in movement.

Hannibal Gaddafi had declared a hunger strike, in protest against the Lebanese judiciary’s continued detention of him for 8 years and his ill-treatment, in a move that would bring his file back to the fore again.

The Lebanese judiciary accuses Muammar Gaddafi’s son of “concealing information related to the fate of Imam Musa al-Sadr and his two companions, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoub and journalist Abbas Badr al-Din, who went missing in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, in 1978, after their arrival at the invitation of Muammar Gaddafi, and participating in the crime of hiding them.”
