Just three months ago Omri Glazer gave Hapoel Beer Sheva a win with saves from the penalty spot, tonight (Thursday) the goalkeeper secured a place for his team in the group stage of the Conference League. Eliniv Breda’s team beat Craiova 3:4 in a duel from the penalty spot, after a dramatic 1:1 at the end of 120 minutes. Beer Sheva did not show great ability for 90 minutes. She tried to create situations, but was not sharp.
But Breda responded with two winning substitutions. He brought in Tomer Hamed and Shafi Suleimanov from the bench and these two brought the turning point. Beer Sheva fell behind 1:0 in overtime to a beautiful goal by Rogolic, but just two minutes later Hamed equalized after a header from Suleimanov, perhaps the number 1 player on the field.
