Hapoel Gilboa / Galil today (Wednesday) added another Israeli player to the squad, in the form of forward center Miron Roina (24, 2.02) who signed for two years with Magen Ner. In the last three seasons, Roina has played for Hapoel Eilat, and recently averaged 3.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Prior to that, he moved to Elitzur Yavneh and Hapoel Galil Elyon.
In addition to Roina, Rami Hadar’s staff includes her sons Srur, Or Cornelius and Daniel Guetta who remain in the team, Tzof Ben Moshe and Amit Ziss who signed her, and foreigner Roni Harl who continues for a second season.
After the signing, Roina said: “I am very happy to come to Gilboa, I have heard a lot of good things about the club. I will give everything to help the team meet its goals. I am already looking forward to the opening of training and a meeting with the fans.” Rami Hadar added about the strengthening: “I see Meron as a significant player and an important part in the puzzle of our team this year, and I am happy to join.”
