Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Tel Aviv meet, once again, for one of the biggest games that Israeli basketball can produce. The two are currently playing in the quarter-finals of the Migdal State Cup, when only last year they met in the same position – then the Jerusalemites advanced all the way to victory.
The teams met twice this season as part of the league and in both meetings Hapoel Tel Aviv came out on top with victories 100:109 at the Drive In and 64:91 at the Arena. This time, Jacory Williams and Brinton Lamar were left out of the host’s squad, while Dez Wells, Xavier Manford and Jacob Brown were out of Danny Franco’s squad.
