Hapoel Kfar Saba advanced to the quarterfinals of the Challenge Cup

The women’s volleyball team of Hapoel Kfar Saba tonight (Wednesday) defeated “Krim” Ljubljana 0: 3 in an away game, thus completing a double victory over the Slovenians and qualifying for the quarterfinals of the European Challenge Cup.

In the next stage, KPS will face a rival from Romania in the battle for promotion to the quarterfinals. The first game will be played in Romania between December 7 and 9, and the rematch in the country a week later.

KPS, under the guidance of coach Elad Spegget, came to Ljubljana with a home win in three sets, and knew that in order to continue in the factory she had to win in return as well. The foreign players contributed a lot to the victory. In the end the game ended with 15:25, 20:25, 13:25. Outstanding in the KPS: Hannah Kotora with 14 points, Gina Lopez with 13 points (of which four aces), Nicole del Rio with 8 points and the young Amit Kimmel with 6 points.
