by time news

Hapoel Tel Aviv continues to look for reinforcements. After they agreed with Benjamin Tidy, the Red Club approached Napchi Baku and were interested in Godsavi Donio, ex-Maccabi Haifa, but they demanded 250 thousand euros for him.

The Reds, who are looking to strengthen themselves with attacking players, turned to the team in Azerbaijan after receiving an indication that the offensive player would be released without compensation, but as mentioned, they asked to be paid for his purchase, while Hapoel Tel Aviv is currently not interested in purchasing him, so the deal fell through as of this time.

As for the reports of a potential deal for the sale of Yam Kanchapolsky, the club clarifies that the contact is not for sale at the moment and will not be released in the next window, a decision made in cooperation with the American purchasing group.

The due diligence phase of that acquisition group is still ongoing as Deloitte, which is conducting the due diligence, has completed its part and now the acquisition group is going through and studying the findings.

Insiders update that no unusual findings were discovered in the due diligence and on the face of it the deal should proceed as planned, with 2 million dollars expected to be deposited into a trust fund at the end of the month which will be a final seal for the purchase of the group.
