Canada has a new plan to resettle four million people a year.

However, due to curfew, the number of new immigrants will be less than 2 lakh by 2020. In view of the economic downturn, the shortage of skilled workers and the increasing demand, plans were made to provide large numbers of immigrants.
Through the 2021 provision of express entry, economic schemes including the Provincial Nominee Scheme and the Temporary – Permanent Residence, 56% of the migration occurred. Under the provisions of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), the Canadian government must announce its immigration plan by November 1, when Parliament meets each year.
