Materials required for Dha Pongal:

Sesame seeds- 2 cups, gram flour- 1 cup, ginger- 1 piece, coconut oil- 2 tbsp, water- as needed, pepper- a little, cumin- a little, green chillies- 2, fenugreek powder- a little, curry leaves- as needed, salt – as required, cashews – a little

Department Pongal Recipe:

First take a small vessel and soak the varakarisi in it. Lightly fry the dals separately in a pan. Then mix it with the soaked varakari. Then peel the ginger and chop it finely. Similarly, cut the green chillies in half. After that, grind both pepper and cumin one by one.

Then put millet, dal, finely chopped ginger, asparagus powder, salt and 3 cups of water in the cooker and cover and cook till 4 whistles. Once cool, open the cooker and mash well.

Then heat some coconut oil in a pan. Then add cashews, green chillies, curry leaves and pepper, cumin powder and stir. After that pour this talibi mixture over the Pongal and stir well. Here is the delicious Thai Pongal Ready.

Oats – 2 cups
Green lentils – 1 cup
Onion – 1
Green chillies – 2
Ginger – 2 quantity
Mustard – 1 spoon
Gram flour – 1 spoon
Chickpeas – 1 tbsp
Pepper – 1 spoon
Cumin – 1 spoon
Cashew – 1 spoon
Salt, ghee – enough

Recipe:

First clean the onions, green chillies and ginger and finely chop them and keep them separately. Next put a kadai in the oven and add oats with a little ghee and fry until golden brown and keep aside. Then place a pan in the oven for pongal, add 1 spoon of ghee and fry the dal well. Then add 5 cups of water and cover the pan and boil it well. When the water boils well, add salt, green chillies and oats to it and stir it – boil it and take it off the stove. Meanwhile, put a pan in the oven and season it with ghee, mustard, chickpeas, pepper, cumin, cashew, urad, etc. Then add this talip to the prepared oats pongal and stir and the delicious oats pongal is ready.
