Kollam: A man who was beaten up by a gang of alcoholics hanged himself in Ayur. Ajayakumar, a native of Kollam, committed suicide. Ajayakumar is being beaten up for questioning his misbehavior with his daughter. The relatives complained that the suicide was out of mind.
The incident happened on Wednesday evening. Ajayakumar was calling his daughter, a Plus One student, from the tuition class. A group of four who were drinking on the road spoke badly to her daughter. After bringing his daughter home, Ajayakumar was beaten up by a group of drunkards who came to question him. During the beating, Ajayakumar was stripped and humiliated. Relatives say that Ajayakumar committed suicide because of this.
The funeral ceremony was held the other day. Then today the family lodged a complaint with the police. The police said that they have started an investigation into the incident.
