Chennai ∙ A young man stabbed his friend to death after he was mocked by comparing him to the villain of the film. Manikanthan (29), a native of Athur Subramaniapuram, was killed near Sivakasi. His friend Muthuraj (38) was arrested in the incident.
While the two were drinking together, Muthuraj stabbed Manikandan in the neck after he called the name of the villain of the Tamil film ‘Rakshasan’ and made fun of him because of his physical condition.
Manikandan was seriously injured and died before reaching the hospital. Manikandan got married 2 months ago.
