Kozhikode: A Russian woman who tried to commit suicide in Koorachund, Kozhikode is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of the medical college. The young woman, who was staying with her boyfriend in Koorachund Kalangali, tried to take her own life by jumping from the fence.
The doctors said that the woman was out of danger. It is suggested that the woman tried to commit suicide because of her boyfriend’s harassment. The young woman reached Koorachund three months ago in search of a Malayali youth whom she met through social media.
The police have not been able to record the woman’s statement as she remains in the intensive care unit. It is reported that the police have not yet been able to find the woman’s boyfriend.
