Harassment, offensive comments about physical appearance and aggressions -such as pulling hair and other attacks-… Some or more of these situations have been experienced by students, teachers and administrative staff of sixteen Ecuadorian universities, and this was demonstrated in a study on violence against gender-based female.
Situation. The evaluation showed that bullying in universities and psychological attacks have been the most frequent in these spaces. These are cases of violence against women and people who self-identify as part of the LGBTIQ+ community.

Infringement. The activist also refers to the number of days (about 29) that a woman loses in productivity after being a victim of gender violence. The study reflects that 58% of the female students interviewed indicated that they had been this type of witness.
