CHENNAI–The Central Finance Department has ordered the ‘suspension’ of Chennai GST Commissioner Ravi Selvan, who was accused of sexism.

An inquiry report in this regard has been sent to the Central Finance Department and the Chairman of the Board of Indirect Taxes. Rejecting the complaint, Commissioner Ravi Selvan sent a letter to the board chairman. In this situation, Ravi Selvan has been ‘suspended’ by the Deputy Secretary of Finance, Manish Kumar Sakai, saying that disciplinary action will be taken against him. ., to be at the head office of The order states that ‘one should not leave the head office without obtaining permission from the competent authority’.
