Mumbai: Former cricketers Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth set to become commentators. Both of them are coming back after the infamous ‘Slapgate’ in IPL history in 2008. Both will join the commentary panel in the new edition of IPL.

In the 16th edition of the IPL, Sreesanth, Harbhajan and Mohammad Kaif will join the commentary panel. The official broadcasters of the tournament, Star Sports, said in a video.

It was during the 2008 season of IPL that Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth had some very dramatic issues. Harbhajan Singh was a Mumbai Indians star then. Harbhajan slapped Kings XI Punjab player Sreesanth in the face after the match. The two did not speak to each other for a long time after the incident.

But the new news will make the fans very happy. Both can be seen on the commentary panel as best friends. With this, the fans’ curiosity about the 16th season of IPL is increasing. The 16th edition of IPL starts on March 31.
