Two road accidents involving motorcycles occurred within six hours on Jerusalem roads – one rider was killed, another seriously injured.

MDA paramedic Akiva Erlich adds: “The wounded man was lying on a hill on the side of the road near the road, tens of meters from the motorcycle. This morning, around 5:40, another serious accident occurred in the involvement of a motorcycle, when rescue teams and the police were called to the Hebron road following an accident between a motorcycle and a private vehicle. The motorcyclist, about 30 years old, was evacuated in critical condition with head injuries while being anesthetized and respirated at Shaare Zedek Hospital.
MDA paramedic Lior Shasha: “The wounded man was lying on the road next to the motorcycle with a vague consciousness and suffering from a head injury. We immediately began life-saving medical treatment that included bandages, stopping bleeding, giving medication for anesthesia and respiration. We put him in the mobile for intensive care and evacuated him for further treatment at the hospital when his condition was serious. “
The Jerusalem Police stated: “The Israel Police’s road accident investigators have begun investigating the circumstances of two serious road accidents in Jerusalem, which occurred tonight and this morning – involving motorcyclists.”
