Just hours after the crazy trade window in the NBA closed, two superstars LeBron James and Kevin Durant gathered tonight (Thursday through Friday) to assemble the roster for the gala All-Star Game to be held in 10 days in Cleveland, Ohio. The particularly big and entertaining story of the draft revolved around All-Star James Harden who just yesterday moved in a huge trade from Brooklyn to Philadelphia, but before we get to it – Here is the list of elections in order:

“Tim LeBron”: LeBron James, Yannis Antocompo, Steph Kerry, Damar Druzen, Nikola Jokic; Luca Doncic, Darius Garland, Chris Paul, Jimmy Butler, Donovan Mitchell, Fred Van Wallit and James Harden.

“Tim Durant”: Joel Ambide, Ja Morant, Jason Taitum, Trey Young, Andrew Wiggins; Devin Booker, Carl Anthony Towns, Zack Lavine, Jonathon Marie, Chris Middleton, Lamello Bull and Rudy Gober. KD, as I recall, is injured and will not take part in the All-Star Game for the second time in a row.

LeBron (holding a 0-4 record in format), who started last season in a five-man squad alongside Yannis, Kerry, Jukic and Doncic, managed to keep the skeleton and together with Damar Druzen create a very strong first six, but the really interesting part only started in the later stages of The draft.

As more and more players got off the board and joined their team, one name remained on the list – Harden. Durant held a grudge against Harden for the latter seeking to leave the Nets, and refrained from selecting him in the draft. In the end, after the Brooklyn star chose Middleton, Lamelo and prevailed over Harden – the bearded man was left last and found himself in “Tim LeBron”.

LeBron did not stop laughing throughout the last election, and when Harden came to his team – he asked cynically: “James fit? He has not played in the last few games.” Charles Barkley at TNT’s studio replied: “Harden has traded, he is now fit.” Both LeBron and Durant, in response, burst out laughing when at times the Lakers star hid his face.

Another amusing moment was recorded when Durant asked LeBron “What would you like for Garland?”. LeBron replied, “Didn’t you finish trading today?” Durant: “Not really. I keep working …”. LeBron: “You can’t touch Garland with me. I left Cleveland twice, taking him to me is the only way I can show my face there again.”
