Harley Davidson exited India and later handed over its bike manufacturing in India to Hero Motocorp. The first bike jointly developed by these two companies is currently in the testing phase.

The structure and design of this bike will be done by Harley Davidson. Hero company will take care of everything from trial production and development.

Design
This bike looks like a roadster bike. Its design is similar to the Harley Davidson XR1200 bike. It features full LED lighting, round headlamps and indicator lights. It has a large fuel tank, tubular frame, black exhaust etc.

engine
Its name HD4XX suggests that it might be a 400cc bike. Its engine is likely to be taken from Harley Davidson’s 883 V twin engine. The engine is expected to deliver low and midrange performance.

Other facilities
It features USD fork, twin shocks, Bybre dual disc brakes, (18/17) alloy wheels. Up front, it is expected to feature a fully digital speedometer, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone connectivity, etc.

Price
This bike will be launched in India to compete with the retro segment bikes like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB 350, Jawa, Yezdi. Expect the price to be between 2.5 lakh and 3 lakh. It will be released in the second half of this year.
