Harley-Davidson launches LiveWire electric motorcycle lineup

by time news

Motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson will produce electric motorcycles under a separate LiveWire brand. The first such motorcycle will be released on July 8, 2021 and will be presented at the International Motorcycle Show in the United States.

The company intends to make LiveWire its own brand, with the new electric motorcycles shipping separately from Harley-Davidson’s core products. The company released its first electric motorcycle LiveWire in August 2019 at a price of $ 29.8 thousand. Reuters reported that Harley-Davidson faced problems in its sales due to the high price tag.

The company also previously announced its first line of electric bicycles. They are developed internally by Serial 1 Cycle. The first four models will go on sale in the spring of 2021 in the US and Germany at prices ranging from $ 3,400 to $ 5,000.
