US Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running for the country’s highest office, believes that her main rival in the race, Donald Trump, wants to avoid participating in election debates with her, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.
“The dynamics of the race are changing. And there is evidence that Donald Trump senses it. You may have noticed. You may have seen him last week back out of the debates he had agreed to do in September,” Harris said at a rally in Georgia broadcast on national television.
“He doesn’t want to debate, but his running mate [кандидат в вице-президенты США от республиканцев Джеймс Дэвид Вэнс] “says a lot about me,” she added. “Donald, I hope you reconsider facing me on stage at the debate. Because as they say, if you have something to say to me, say it to my face,” Harris stressed.
