During a meeting in Washington, US Vice President Kamala Harris intends to call on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to end the war in the Gaza Strip.

According to Politico, the vice president also plans to speak about the “right of the Palestinian people to freedom, dignity and self-determination.” One of Harris’s confidantes said she plans to take a “tougher line” in her conversation with Netanyahu.
