Berlin – downpour outside. Inside thunderous applause in the BILD editorial office.
Hollywood legend Harrison Ford (80) visited the Axel Springer skyscraper on Friday morning to talk to his co-stars Mads Mikkelsen (57) and Thomas Kretschmann (60) about their new film “Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny” (theatrical release : June 29) to chat. And in a conversation with BILD presenter Patricia Platiel, it became surprisingly private.

In the fifth and last part of the cinema saga, the superstar rushes through the numerous action scenes almost like a young Springinsfeld. His wife, Calista Flockhart (58), also helped him.

Ford to BILD: “My wife takes very good care of me. She flat irons me every morning and then sends me out into the world.” What the Hollywood star probably means by that: Calista gets him in shape every morning, keeps him on his toes, motivates him.

Not only ironing seems to help. The computer has conjured Ford young again. What was it like seeing yourself young again on screen with the help of artificial intelligence? Ford smiles, “Bizarre, bizarre. But does it scare me? No! If we take care of it, it is a benefit for all of us.”

However, Ford cannot do without a certain level of fitness either: “I don’t have a secret recipe. I’m just happy and thankful. My clockwork is still ticking. I’m an early riser. Not necessarily at four in the morning, but at six. And then I do my exercises. When I’m not working, I have a lot of time for my family. I love afternoon naps. And I’m usually in bed by ten o’clock at night.”
