Chandigarh: Before the Haryana assembly elections, the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) has suffered two more setbacks. Two MLAs of the party have resigned. With this, the number of MLAs leaving the party has increased to six. In the 2019 assembly elections, JJP won 10 seats. After this, Dushyant Chautala became the Deputy CM, but after the announcement of Haryana assembly elections, there has been a stampede of MLAs from the party. Now the MLAs who have resigned include Jogiram Sihag and Ramniwas Surjakheda. Voting for 90 seats of Haryana will be held on October 1. The results will come on October 4. After the resignation of six JJP MLAs, JJP seems to be finished even before the elections.

How many MLAs are left now?
Now only four MLAs are left in Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). These include Dushyant Chautala and his mother Naina Chautala. The other two MLAs include Amarjit Singh Dhanda and Rajkumar Gautam. If two more MLAs of JJP leave the party, the condition of JJP, formed in December 2018, will become more pathetic. In the Lok Sabha elections, the party had fielded candidates on all the seats. The party got less than 1 percent votes in the elections. There is speculation that more MLAs leaving JJP will join Congress. Ram Charan Kala has also joined Congress. He joined Congress on Wednesday. In the 2019 assembly elections, JJP contested on 87 seats. The party got 18.58 lakh votes. Dushyant Chautala is the biggest leader of JJP while his father Ajay Chautala is in charge of the party. Dushyant Chautala formed JJP after separating from INLD. Dushyant Chautala’s uncle Abhay Chautala has formed an alliance of INLD with Bahujan Samaj Party.
