Chandigarh: Congress will release its manifesto for the Haryana assembly elections on Wednesday. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will release the Congress manifesto. Congress is contesting 89 seats in the Haryana state assembly elections. The party has left one seat for the CPIM under the All India Alliance. Congress has named its manifesto as ‘Guarantee Letter’. In the 2019 assembly elections, the BJP retained power in the state with the help of independents and JJP. After the release of Congress’s guarantee letter, national leaders can come to Haryana for election campaign. Rahul Gandhi is expected to hold several rallies and road shows in Haryana. Congress has announced seven guarantees for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. The party is fighting in the state in alliance with the National Conference.
What is in the Congress guarantee letter?
In its Sankalp Patra, Congress party can make big promises about Agniveer Yojana along with loan waiver of farmers. Along with this, the way Congress is raising the issue of unemployment in the state, in view of that, Congress can announce regularization of temporary employees and new recruitment. Apart from this, Congress party can also make announcements related to women in the state. In this, Congress can make some big promises on the lines of Karnataka and Telangana. Party leaders will be present at the launch of Congress’ guarantee letter. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will release it in front of the media at the party headquarters at 2 pm. Voting for the assembly elections in Haryana will be held on October 5. Counting of votes will come on October 8.
