Sirsa: In Sirsa, Haryana, there was a violent clash between two groups over the land of Namdhari Dera. Bullets were fired between the two, in which 6 people were seriously injured. When the police reached there after getting information about the firing, bullets were fired at them too. Seeing this, the policemen first ran to save their lives. After this, the crowd was dispersed from there by firing tear gas shells. After the violent clash, SCC Vikrant Bhushan reached the spot with the police force. In view of the tense situation, police force has been deployed in Jeevan Nagar area. The injured have been admitted to Agroha Medical College for treatment.
A large number of police have been deployed at the place of the camp. Police suspect that the attackers are still hiding in the fields with weapons. Village Sarpanch Sukhchain Singh said that there are two Dhams in the Namdhari Sikh community. One Dham is Shri Bhaini Sahib in Ludhiana, which is managed by Satguru Uday Singh. The second Dham is in Jeevan Nagar of Rania, this camp is managed by Uday Singh’s brother Thakur Dalip Singh. This morning, the followers of Satguru Uday Singh came with the intention of occupying 12 acres of land adjacent to Dera Jeevan Nagar. The land is adjacent to Shri Jeevan Nagar Namdhari Dham. Dalip Singh’s follower Mitthu Singh claims that this land belongs to him.

Mitthu Singh said that about 250 followers of Satguru Uday Singh wanted to capture the land. After this the followers attacked the camp. According to eyewitnesses, after this the supporters of both the groups came face to face. Firing started between them. In which 6 people got shot. The atmosphere became so bad that there was screaming and shouting. As soon as this was known, the police team reached there. Till the time the police arrived, firing was going on between both the parties. When the police tried to stop them, they were also fired upon. During this, the policemen had to run away to save their lives.

However, after this the police also fired tear gas shells to calm the crowd. After this SP Vikrant Bhushan also reached the spot and controlled the situation. Heavy police force has been deployed in Jeevan Nagar area. So far no death has been reported in this case but the 6 people who have been shot are seriously injured. Doctors have referred 4 people from Civil Hospital Sirsa to Agroha Medical. At the same time, 2 people are undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Sirsa.
