A pavilion of Asianet News has been prepared at the festival venue. Kaitapram Pavilion was inaugurated with music.

Kozhikode: Lyricist and poet Kaitapram Damodaran says that although he has written thousands of songs, he has never used drugs. He said this while speaking to Asianet News at the 61st School Arts Festival. “I will tell you my story. I have written thousands of songs in hundreds of films. But I never used drugs. There is no need for any intoxication.”- Kaitapram said. Kaitapram Damodaran inaugurated Asianet News’ pavilion at Kalotsava with music.
The Malayalees sang Kaitapram at the pavilion of Asianet News, which was set up at Athiranipad, the main stage, to welcome the teenagers who had driven to Kozhikode with artistic dreams in their chests. According to Asianet News, there is a special prize for Kalakan player and team of each day. Asianet News also launched the fight against drug addiction at the festival.
At 10 am, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the Kala Mela at the main venue named Athiranipadam in Vikram Maidani, Kozhikode.
