The Asia Cup cricket series will be held in the UAE from August 27 (tomorrow) to September 11. The much awaited match between India and Pakistan will be held in Dubai on the 28th.
In this case, Pakistan’s star fast bowler Shaheen Afridi did not play in the Asia Cup due to injury. Mohammad Hasnain was announced as his replacement.

After Shaheen Afridi, Pakistan’s other fast bowler Mohammad Wasim also withdrew from the Asia Cup due to injury. Mohammad Wasim, who had gone to Dubai for intensive training with the Pakistan team for the Asia Cup, suffered a back injury and withdrew from the series.
In this case, Hasan Ali, an experienced senior fast bowler, has been included as a replacement for Mohammad Wasim. Hasan Ali is also a batting expert.
Hasan Ali has played 21 Tests, 60 ODIs and 49 T20Is for Pakistan. He has taken 60 wickets in T20 cricket. The addition of experienced Hasan Ali to Pakistan’s fast bowling unit will add strength to Pakistan’s team.
