This was revealed when PDI Perjuangan Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto delivered a briefing at the 2024 Pilkada Winning Team National Training at the Seruni Hotel, Cisarua, Bogor Regency, Tuesday (23/7).
In his briefing, Hasto also conveyed Megawati’s message to PDI Perjuangan cadres who attended the national training themed Rise, Move, and Win.
“Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, she conveys her greetings to all of you that all of you here are being trained to become militant party cadres, to become party cadres who have a fighting spirit like the fire of struggle that never goes out,” he said, Tuesday.
Hasto referred to Megawati’s message asking PDI Perjuangan cadres to follow national training with full awareness to realize a country like that fought for by the Proclaimer of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno or Bung Karno.
“Therefore, you must follow this training with full awareness of our souls and bodies, that we are being trained to achieve the goals of the nation and state that have been fought for with great difficulty by Bung Karno, the Proclaimer and Father of our Nation,” said the man born in Yogyakarta.
Hasto then said in his briefing that the National Training for the 2024 Pilkada Winning Team from the PDI Perjuangan was closed for the first and second waves.
However, said Hasto, PDI Perjuangan decided to openly conduct national training for the third wave.
