Ranji Trophy cricket matches are going on in different cities of India.

In the match held yesterday in Rajkot, the Delhi team led by Yash Dul and the Saurashtra team led by Jaidev Unadgat clashed. Delhi team won the toss and announced that they will bat first.

Accordingly, Dhruv Shorey and Ayush Badoni entered the field as the opening players of the Delhi team. Saurashtra captain Unathkat bowled the first over of the match. The Delhi team did not score any runs in the first 2 balls.

On the 3rd ball, Unathkat bowled opener Dhruv Shorey. He dropped Rawal in the next ball. This gave him a chance to take a hat-trick of wickets.

Unadgat knocked out Delhi captain Yash Dulla in lbw fashion as he came to face the hat-trick ball. With this, Unathkat took a hat-trick in the first over of the game and set a record.

Apart from taking a hat-trick of wickets, Unathkat also took wickets of the opposing batsmen with his bowling. At one stage they stumbled with the loss of 8 wickets for 53 runs. Hrithik Shokeen joined for the 9th wicket and Shivnak rescued the team from the slump. A relaxed Shokin scored his half-century. On the other side, Shivnak, who came patiently, lost the game by 38 runs. In the end, the Delhi team lost all wickets at the end of 35 overs and were all out for 133 runs.

Unadkat who took a hat-trick of wickets was amazing with a total of 8 wickets. Shirak Jani and Prerak Munkat took 1 wicket each. With this, Unathkat created the record of taking hat-trick wickets in the first over of the game in the 88-year history of Ranji cricket.
