Lost the trial and asks for help: The Supreme Court ruled this week that the well-known activist Yoav Eliasi, known by his nickname “The Shadow”, will pay NIS 38,000 to Noa Drucker, owner of a food business, according to a Ynet report. Five years ago, Drucker shared a harsh criticism on Facebook regarding the Alor Azaria affair and asked that anyone who defines himself as his supporter remove himself from her membership. In response, “Hazel” published her words and requested that anyone who defines himself as a supporter of Elor Azaria, leave a negative review on her business page. Drucker was finally forced to close the page and Eliasi was also charged with legal costs of NIS 7,500.

“I lost to someone who wrote that Elor Azaria’s parents are filthy,” Eliasi wrote in a post he uploaded to his Instagram account, “What did I lose for, you ask? Well, I lost because I published her words and wrote that everyone who supports Elor should remove her like and give the good soul one star. I was declared an instigator of slander, do you understand? Because I don’t understand? I was awarded 40,000 for that!!! After I won against her in one court.”

According to him, the court invented a special judgment for him called solicitation of defamation, “a new invention especially for the Shadow. This means that I am accused and guilty of what comes out of the mouth of my followers (I wonder if News 12/13, Walla, Ynet, and Mako are also responsible for lawsuits for the talkbacks of others).

“But I’ll tell you, that way they won’t shut me up, no matter how or why I won’t shut up. They won’t beat me and this time the last word hasn’t been said either.” Later in his words, he asked the followers for help, “Usually I absorb and don’t ask, but this has already become psychotic and very heavy, there is a beat and a fibox in his bio. If he comes to help fight, to be honest, I will thank you very much. (Every shekel above the fine will go to a donation to lonely soldiers and weak families in the coming holiday )”.
