Hapoel Beer Sheva won the state cup last night (Tuesday) for the third time after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Maccabi Haifa, which failed to achieve a historic quarterback. One of the evening stars of the Reds from the Negev was Rotem HatuelWho scored BS’s second goal three minutes after coming off the bench. Less than 24 hours after the win, the striker was interviewed by Sports News.

Hatuel started by telling about the new tattoo on his (cup) leg, which he did after winning: “This is without a doubt the happiest moment of my life and it was important for me to experience it to the end.” The striker spoke about the change that Barda brought: “He introduced new and good energies and swept the audience and it helped us a lot. A good word also goes to Roni Levy, with whom we made a very impressive sequence of points.”

“The truth is that we never looked at what was said about us but we looked at ourselves. Even in the less good times we were together and that made us finish second in the league and win the cup.”

On the personal side, Hatuel said: “A very good season for me, I think I can be a leading player at Hapoel Beer Sheva. I will continue to train well and work hard in the mental section as well, next season I am sure I will make a better season than this.”
